Brandon Seuring is a self-taught wood sculptor based in Brooklyn, New York. His work touches

themes of grief, disillusionment, and endurance - themes drawn from lived experience rather than

the classroom. Raised with tools in hand — on a farm and at his father's workbench — he returned

to that instinct in October 2020, carving basswood as an anchor during the uncertainty of the

pandemic. Working by hand became a physical, unhurried counterweight to a world that had

become relentlessly fast and online. He has developed a distinctive voice guided by instinct,

obsession, and the wood itself.
